what does time mean to me? that is an excellent question. Time to me is extremely important because it allows things to change, grow, fall apart, blow up, and in the end all come back together in a beautiful collage that are our memories. time allows you to remember your mistakes and learn from them. time allows us to become more and more defined as a person. time can cause pain because it wont move fast enough during the wait and it goes too fast once the wait is over. it can cause wounds, scars, and even death. there is never enough time. it tends to move in the exact opposite way that you want. time can give you a barrier between the bad and good and it can also be overwhelming. we always have the chance to start over and become someone new, but it just takes time...

when you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. but then you photograph people in black and white you photograph their souls!- Ted Grant

I agree with this because when we see things in color, the materialistic details are presented rather than the face and emotion. we see people in color as objects because color adds a certain kind of "value" to things. in black and white, the expressions and body language of the person are more readily identifiable.
